Merging prints/combining stl's

Sun Mar 01, 2020 2:32 am

Hi! is it possible to combine or merge files/parts if your printer's build size allows it?

I have a Artillery X1 (v.4) upgraded with an Hemera kit.

Hello can you please clarify what you mean by combine or merge parts/files?

Simplify3D allows you to print multiple model files in the same build. If you're asking for the ability to merge two different overlapping meshes, no that's not currently a feature. But I'd be happy to document it as a feature request if that is your desired functionality.

To clarify, most of the parts in S3Dfactory format are created for a 195*195*150 build plate however I have a printer that can print 300*300*400.
wouldn't it be easier if some of the parts were combined as one instead of having to glue them together?
