Rotate STL with no flat surfaces available

I need to rotate an STL so that I can add supports and print it standing up at an angle so it will fit my print area.
I have tried the Edit>Place Surface On Bed but everything has draft angles and radii so its not as simple as selecting a surface.
Can someone point this Simpliy3D newbie in the right direction as this is going to be an ongoing issue with all the prints we make.

Quick Update:

I just rotated the STL so it is positioned corner to corner so its in the build area.
If there is another solution I would like to hear it.

Double-click on the part....and the model info window will open. The bottom three settings are XYZ rotation values.

Another option:

Select the model and choose Menue EDIT > Place Surface ...
Touch with the mouse arrow the part of the model you want to put it on the table and click this triangle.

You may have to rotate manually as Doug suggested. I have one model that sits on the bed in three places: one straight edge and two arcs. I just fiddled with the rotation values, with a drop to table surface between changes, until I could slice and have all three places extrude on the bed's surface.
