After waiting all this time for an upgrade, I'm still OK with paying for it IF it is all it should be after all this time. I have now also had plenty of time to get PrusaSlicer working as a backup. I still prefer S3D, but if they go to a subscription system, I'm out of here...

I recently switched to Prusaslicer and I'm very happy with it. The features are amazing. So for me I don't see any reason to switch back to S3D.

Just my 2 cents....

I'm also shifting towards using another slicer (SuperSlicer) exclusively.
I'll only consider using 5.0 is it's amazingly good and seriously cheap to upgrade to.

Im of the same mind. I love S3D but I think its time to move on. Especially if they attempt to introduce a subscription model.
