Hello!
I need to print a dual material part with two extruders and I want to change to tool every layer to prevent the nozzle of the 2nd extruder to touch the slightly higher layer of the 1st extruder. The standard layer composition is ABBAABBAABBAA... so it prints 2 layers of A before printing two layers of B.
Is it possible to print like ABABABABAB... which means the tool change needs to happen twice per layer?

I found a solution for this by the user CZF (memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=51542) written in this post : viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1959&start=60.
Cite from CZF:
"If you split the print into 2 processes (1 per component) and make the first layer hight a bit bigger by a minimalistic amount on one of them, simplify will print this process as the second one in EVERY LAYER. Alternatively you could adjust the global g-code offset in one of the processes"
So I adjusted the layer height in one process to 101% and this process now always prints following the other process and not two layers in a row.
