Simplify3D User Forum

Hi guys,

So new to the forum, and have been messing around with my E5+ for some time now.

Lately I have been trying to get this model https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4676909 to look decent without stringing, but I cant figure out how to avoid the stringing in the corners

Have attached a few photos and my FFF profile, that I have been using for the model.

Any tips/hints/advice will be greatly appreciated

Stringing is easily managed using the retraction settings in Simplify3D. What you're seeing is that Simplify3D doesn't detect a retraction is needed when crossing over what is "Infill". To force retractions in those areas, turn off "Only retract when crossing open spaces" setting in the advanced tab of your FFF settings.
