How to get a x3g file from a custom GCode file?

Wed May 04, 2016 1:29 pm

Hi,
I'm making me a temperature finder cube..to adjust the temp every so many levels etc..to see the best results for a given filament.
I have taken my cube and got the GCode file from Simplyfy3D and added the temparature changes etc..and need to get that gcode to an x3g file for the printer..I can preview my file..but I don't see any way to have it generate the x3g file from the code.
Can anyone help me with that?

Thanks

Here is what I do on my Flashforge creator X/Pro

you might need to adjust the gpx parameters depending on your specific machine. I've done that on occasion to fix a gcode bug and regenerate the x3g file.

Alternatively, you can add temperature changes to your process. Go to the temperature tab (hit Show Advanced if you haven't already) and add as many layer temperature setpoints as your heart desires. Then you won't have to deal with getting the GPX command line parameters sorted.
