Overhang View

Hi,

I'm brand new to S3D after using Cura for over a year. My question is a simple one. I LOVE that I can specify fan speed control based on layer, but does S3D have a "overhang view" like Cura where it will highlight the areas that are greater than a specified angle? Better still can it tell me what range of layers have those overhangs? This would really help with me creating a custom cooling profile. Right now I have to go over to cura to see the overhang view which just adds a bit of complexity I feel S3D probably takes care of.

Thanks
Jim

Re: Overhang View

I feel like it's pretty easy to see in the preview where your overhangs are, but if you want a separate view specifically for this, then that's probably a feature request

Re: Overhang View

I would think that if you have an oveehang you would be using support. You can turn support on and set the angle to what you want. The support generated would be your identifier. If you dont want support then just go back and turn it off after you get all your info for yoit cooling
