Print Defects on walls<20 degrees

Hey guys,

I'm seeing some print defects on my parts that aren't overhangs and I'd like some help diagnosing. Please see the attacahed zip file for the factory file, and pictures of the defects.

On the back of the part, I have slanted defects. My guess is this is where the nozzle starts on each layer. Digging into the S3d settings, I had nozzle position started based on speed and making the fastest print. Will this defect go away if I select "select random start point" instead? Me thinks it will.

The other defect that is circled in red, I have absolutely no idea how they occurred. Any thoughts on what could be causing them?

Thanks

Jim

That looks like either inconsistent extrusion or ringing. I think they talk about both of those in the S3D print quality guide if you want help with them
