My Memory Loss

Hi, I am trying to print a small model like about 25mm with ABS. The problem I have is that it appears to get too hot during the print process. I read somewhere that you can print 2 at a time but one each side of the build plate - using the travel time to help cool each model before the next layer is printed. However, for the life of me, I can't remember how to set the printer to do this. I know it's there somewhere  . So, model 1 print first layer then travel and print 1st layer of model 2 then back to model 1 to print layer 2 and so on. Can anyone help? (BTW the model has been reduced by 50%)

Just do a copy/paste so that you have 2 copies of the model on the bed. Then click Prepare to Print and it should slice both of them. By default, I think it prints layer 1 of the first part, the layer 1 of the second part. So it should automatically help you a lot with cooling.

There's more info on their site about it - https://www.simplify3d.com/support/tuto ... -printing/

Thank you! :D It worked like a charm. Easy when you remember how. Now to see if it helps.
