negative spaces - pez dispenser

Tue Feb 14, 2017 9:56 pm

I am trying to print a few pez dispensers.

I have the faces that I want to print. I have the pez header negative (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:20412). I need to be able to us the "negative" of the pez header part to subtract out the materail from the head so that it fits on the pez dispenser.

Any clues on how to subtract out our part from another?

Thanks in advance

You would probably need to do this in the original CAD program

Hi,

I have tested it for my own interests and it runs.

It is possible to substract one STL-Files from an other one.

If you havn't a CAD-program for this, I think that i.e. SketchUp is sufficient. Perhaps also the one or other Online-Service.
