Velocity Units

I'm about to make my first print using Creator on a MG Prusa.

I'm puzzled by the choice of velocity units ... mm/MINUTE. I've been printing for months, and all the software & firmware I've used has mm/SECOND. Is there a setting in Creator that can change the units?

Re: Velocity Units

If you look at your G-Code file, you'll see why we chose to stick with mm/min as the units. Your firmware and G-Code files all speak in terms of mm/minute. If you send a command to the firmware via the Machine Control Panel, you would need to be using mm/minute. If you're trying to correctly render a preview of the file, you would need to use mm/minute.

We had multiple questions from users early on who were confused why the speeds they set in their FFF settings were not getting carried over to their G-Code files. In reality it was just due to a different unit system, but it makes a lot of sense to stick with one common format to avoid this confusion. We also have people using english units (gasp!) which uses inch/min as the common feedrate.
