Re: update to v4.0

Hi,

thanks to S3D team for finally releasing a new update - great!
My request (brim for support) was implemented - great!

I miss: Variable layer height - not great :-(

I think it is part of the MS VS 2015: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... x?id=53587

Well but the variable settings wizard makes it much easier to do that manually. Of cause this would not result in a smooth transition, only that smoot like you split you process. For me it is okay like it is.

Re: update to v4.0

Hi,

for me it is not OK - since it is a lot of manual work necessary to generate smooth transitions.
Other slicers can do this for a longer time already. From a major update to V4.0 I expected a 'killer' feature like this.

For me the update to V4.0 offers only minor improvements - no real killer feature that makes S3D outstanding.
For this feature (variable layer height) I have still to switch to competitors :-(

Okay, but maybe you should whine in an separate thread about that, since this is offtopic to the question of the TO

Re: update to v4.0

For this "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-|1-1-0.dll" run windows update to update the C Runtime. You can google to find info on this.
