forcing "single" perimeter

I have a part that is a single-width loop with a thicker part below it. The loop is forming after the thicker part, so the outer perimeter is formed in two separate sections. Is there a way to force it to do the whole outer perimeter?

I tried inside out and outside in, and they both did it the same way.

It would be useful if you could attach a factory file for the part you're printing and the settings used. That way, someone can suggest suitable changes you can make to your profile.

I have attached the file. You will see the two perimeter loops; one for the large section, and a separate one for the loop. I want the loop to go all the way around, for strength and smooth building. Currrently, it shows in the preview the loop ending in a notch where it is supposed to be straight, and that is showing up on the part.

I messed around with the "thin wall behavior" in advanced tab, and it changed the wall type slice like you want to, but also got some geometric errors..
