Walls seperated from base on print

printed a 3d model that holds talisman game cards. the print has walls and a base. I was using Cura and it printed it fine no problems. Recently picked up a new printer Makergear M2 and Cura just wasnt working for me so my friend recommended simplify3d which for made the printer work way better. When i look at the preview it shows the walls not connected to the base, Just wondering if there is a setting that im missing for this.

Thanks for the help

Re: Walls seperated from base on print

It looks as if this model has been made up of two separate shapes within the CAD package...and then exported as such, resulting in there being separate meshes within the one stl file.

Normally, as part of the CAD process, the two parts making the final shape are joined together using a process called "Boolean addition"....and this has not been done. Never fear....there's something super easy that can be done to resolve this......use the Separate Connected Surfaces option on the Mesh dropdown menu. This will split the two parts into separate parts...and they will then slice as one.
