I uninstalled and reinstalled V4.0 on Monday night, and did Help/reset all settings. Same symptoms before and after. I am going to deauthorize this PC and try an install on a laptop that has never had S3D. I am kind of invested in using my main desktop for slicing as part of the whole Fusion/netfabb/S3d/octoprint workflow, so hopefully something can be figured out. The PC is not having any other issues with anything else. I may install cura and see if that has any issues.

Hey guys, thanks for the good suggestions. What happened was the hard drive i was trying to save gcode files to was full except for 10kb or so.
Maybe change S3d to give "disk full" error msg rather than save a 0 kb file.

S3D 3.1.0
zero length gcode file output with previously printed stl input and new stl files, nothing works all of a sudden.
I have the same problem and I load only 1 STL file at a time for printing. 3.11.0 has been working fine for years but suddenly both new and old STL input creates zero length gcode files. I downloaded version 4, same problem, zero length gcode file output.
Everything in S3D looks normal and the playback is normal, the only problem is zero length files.

Earlier I posted that I had the exact same problem then I got a brain storm and saved to a different USB thumb drive and the results were OK, apparently the original thumb drive had a bad spot even though I ran check disk on it. The weird part is that all other files including the STL saved fine.
