No supports generated in hollow half-sphere

Hello,

I would like to print a cover for a ceiling lamp electrical interface to hide the loose isolated contacts from view. I made a model of a hollow half-sphere with a 10 mm flat ring to use double-sided glue tape to fasten it to the ceiling. As it turns out, Simplify3D doesn't seem to generate any kind of support for the middle part of the sphere. A hole opens and the print is ruined. I tried kinda all things that seemed possible, but the supports are not generated. Is that possibly a bug? I can send the model if that helps analyzing the issue. I use a raft.

Could you please include the model or Factory File for this?

Without the model which Alex already requested its just guess work. My first thought is the "Only generate supports on the build platform" is enabled.

To add support is no problem, it must be a setting issue perhaps also an issue with the model.

Factory-file will help ...
