Can you please post a Factory File that exhibits this issue?

Are there any news regarding this issue?
I have the same problem, that in certain parts the retraction seems not to work but a massive deretraction!

I just played with the settings once more and figured that the complete retraction is changing when I change the value between 6.40 and 6.45:

retract 6.45 or more:

Code: Select all

G92 E0.0000
G1 E-0.0214 F2700
G1 X239.968 Y254.302 F1680

G1 Z0.600 F1002
G1 E6.2286 F2700

retract 6.40 or less:

Code: Select all

G1 X240.750 Y258.225 F1680
G92 E0.0000
G1 X239.971 Y254.320 E-6.4000 F1680

Clearly the wipe while retracting it's broken

I would stay away from 4.1 for a few weeks. S3D need's to push the level up and start with some good beta testers to avoid this issues.

I'm finding I get blobs at unretraction points after travel moves. Use same factory file in 4.0.1 and it's perfectly fine

I can confirm that from 4.0.0 to 4.1.0 the retraction when leaving support and continuing on model layers, is missing. This results is that the support is "melting" together with the model, even if the space is several millimeters. (probably only visible on bowden printers, which rely heavily on retraction).
