This may have something to do with the current Acceleration Mode of your software. Please go to Tools > Options > Visualization and try the "Disable Hardware Acceleration" option. Alternatively, you can also choose to not "Automatically load preview after slicing" and this will slice the file properly as well.

These modes are meant to try and compensate for outdated graphics drivers and/or cards so the best solution is to make sure you have the most up-to-date drivers available for your specific setup. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
That is not a solution. :(
Disable hardware acceleration results preview very slow, making preview useless. :(
Not choose "Automatic load preview after slicing" will force you have to save G-code file every time after slicing. It will make our job much inconvenient.:(

Your company should hire a better Quality Assurance team does the job before post a new release.

I would keep using 4.0.1 rather than 4.1.0 or 4.1.1, now.
Thank you for your input. These acceleration modes were implemented in 4.0.1. If that version works fine for you then you should be fine to work in Native Hardware Acceleration Mode as this is the mode 4.0.1 was setup to work in. There is no reason to use the other modes unless your software does not render correctly due to your graphics setup in this Native mode. If you experience any further issues with this please contact us directly at support@simplify3d.com so we can help you with your specific situation.

4.1.1
In 2 or more objects and many processes with different height layers the application crashes and closes

Can you please post a Factory File showing this issue occurring? We would love to look into this further.

Unfortunately, I uninstalled it.
You can try choosing one process for some detail with a 150 micron layer height and the next process for other detail with 200 micron layer height .

This file crashes the program once every 10-20 tries - it also has massive problems with random retractions and overlapping perimeters in the first section - what on earth is going on there?!

I've been having a lot of problems printing TPU since switching to 4.1.1 and I'm wondering if this is part of it.

if i remove the support and hit the preview button simplify3d crash

maybe this can help some of you
good luck

FWIW, I've found you can get it to easily crash if using multiple processes. Pop back and forth between print preview and the main screen and it crashes.
If you need another one, I'm sure I can generate you a factory file - it's not model specific, although it's possible that it is triggered by something in the process settings.

me too
i can repeat the preview crash with multiprocess works
no matter the model (smaller are more difficult to repeat) or setting change in the process
i made it with multiple identical process except for height start-stop setting
sometimes it crash on the first preview sometime it take 10, but always crash
i try the same models with single process and they work fine all the time

all the same factory files in 4.0.1 version never crash after 20 preview
