Hello together,

I have the newest S3D with 4.1 , the Prints and functions be great! Better than bevore

But now I have a problem with much parts.
Still standing long Time with "search for overhang" (support is deaktivated!)
Bevore never still stand long time, and it is a fast CAD workbench

Can you please post the Factory File that causes this issue to occur so we can take a look?

3.000 KB to big too

Find out only some Parts be difficult for S3D, much other (bigger) has no problem

Prozessor runs to 100% and need a long Time .... only for some parts, most other runs fine :?

I'm having the same issue in 4.1.1 (Mac). Prepare to Print, and then it stalls while "looking for overhangs..." I'll try to attach a factory file.

I figured out that if I turn on generate support material, it's able to slice the model. It doesn't appear to actually insert any support material (and I don't want any), so in this case it's an acceptable workaround.

Thanks for your factory file and for the many different reports of this issue. Our support team was able to reproduce this error internally and they'll document it thoroughly for our development team to dig into.

Again, many thanks for your help finding this issue!

S3D-Jake: Any update on this issue? It's still occurring for me (with certain models), and I have to revert to S3D 4.0 to slice them. Thanks,

Don
