CTC Bizer Profile Wrong

Thu Feb 07, 2019 10:52 am

Hi all,

I preset S3D with the provided CTC Bizer profile and everything works as expected, except of one thing: The build volume/Y-Axis starting point.
S3D somehow thinks, that the build volume on the Y-Axis is only 140mm, but the CTC has a 150mm build plate. So what happens is that the starting point of the print head is 10mm offset starting at 140mm instead of 150mm.

I tried to change the build volume in the preferences and change the offset. However in the preview mode the starting line is still drawn 10mm offset. How can I fix this and why is this profile incorrect?

Thanks a lot!

The starting script is where the priming line will be hard coded. It's coordinates should be fairly easy to alter. I believe there were multiple revisions of this printer. That may explain why your build volume differs from the stock profile.

Yes I updated the g-code. I just thought there was maybe a better solution than altering the start script. Thanks!
