Simplify Immediately Crashes when Opened

Sun May 12, 2019 12:15 pm

Hello!

First time posting.

I've been using Simplify3d version 4.1 a little over a week without any issues; however, attempting to open the program today has yielded complications.

The program opens for a second or two and closes again.

I've updated all my graphics drivers, removed any additional monitors, completely cleared my registry, uninstalled, and restart my PC a dozen times or more.

Thus far, nothing.

I'm running windows 10 - 64.

I'm hoping I'll be able to upload a copy of the event viewer log file to aid in whatever assistance is offered.

Thank you in advance!

Seems event viewer files aren't easily added to posts? I've copy / pasted the bulk of the file :

Can you please try opening Windows Explorer and navigating to the following directory:

C:/Users/%USERNAME%/AppData/Local/Simplify3D/S3D-Software

You may need to enable hidden folders to access this directory. Once there, please try deleting the savedState.factory file, then opening Simplify3D again. Please let me know if this works for you.
