vase mode: radius starts with z-axis jumps

Hello,
during vase mode at the start of the radius (tangential transition) slicer produces these small z axis jumps on multiple layers, that makes the print uggly.
it turns out to be a real bump where it should be smooth. the part is symmetrical and the oppisite side is absolutely clean.

any ideas?

Re: vase mode: radius starts with z-axis jumps

Have the same problem on a round cylinder in vase mode.
I've done a lot of testing to find the problem.
It's a drawing from Fusion 360 floor only and a 0.4 mm wall.
Different people have tried other vase models and have the same problems.
We tried it on different systems, printers and slicers, these lines only show up in Simplify code files.

The preview in simplify show the lines

Does anyone have any idea where the problems are coming from?

The solution is in this one sentence!!

Vase mode is for printing a single filament width wall version of a SOLID model...…..not a model that already looks like a vase, i.e. has an inside!

Imagine you're making a vase out of a long clay "sausage"...like this. one, and only one, spiral:

The Other tab in the settings has a tick box that will convert a model into a SOLID object before printing. Check this and I bet your vase print will work.
