Need help with IDEX Toolchangescript // getting crazy

Tue Aug 13, 2019 5:24 pm

Hi,

first of all, i hope my english is good enugh to discripe my problem.

I build an IDEX Printer my self.
I use Marlin 2.0 as firmware
The printer works fine.

So now we come to the S3D part...and this topic makes me craze for weeks now!

This is my toolchangescript:

{IF NEWTOOL=0}G1 Y-35 F20000;
{IF NEWTOOL=0}G1 X375 F20000;[THIS IS THE "IF NEWTOOL COMMAND]
{IF NEWTOOL=0}G91
{IF NEWTOOL=0}G1 F2000 E-3
{IF NEWTOOL=0}G90
{IF NEWTOOL=0}G91
{IF NEWTOOL=0}G1 F2000 E-10
{IF NEWTOOL=0}G90
{IF NEWTOOL=0}G92 E0
{IF NEWTOOL=1}G1 Y-35 F20000;
{IF NEWTOOL=1}G1 X-80 F20000; [THIS IS THE "IF NEWTOOL COMMAND]
{IF NEWTOOL=1}G91
{IF NEWTOOL=1}G1 F2000 E-3
{IF NEWTOOL=1}G90
{IF NEWTOOL=1}G91
{IF NEWTOOL=1}G1 F2000 E-10
{IF NEWTOOL=1}G90
{IF NEWTOOL=1}G92 E0
T[new_tool] ; switch to new tool
G92 E0 ; zero the extruded distance
G1 E15 F2000 ; prime the new extruder
G1 F300 E30
G92 E0
G1 F5000 E-8
{IF NEWTOOL=1}G1 F20000 X375
{IF NEWTOOL=1}G1 F500 X355
{IF NEWTOOL=0}G1 F20000 X-80
{IF NEWTOOL=0}G1 F500 X-60

Everything works exactly like it should!

After primeing the new tool, i have a 8mm retract in my script.

At the fist toolchang, directly after the startscript, there is the 8mm retract, the printhead travels to the startpoint, the 8mm gets back into the nozzle.
Everything is fine.

After the second toolchange, there is the 8mm retract, the printhead travels to the startpoint...but the filament is not pushed the 8 mm bach into the nozzle!

After the 3rd and every coming toolchange, there is no problem with the retract and pushing it back into the nozzle.
It only happens with the second toolchange...no matter if it is T0 or T1

i dont get it...

The toolchanges form the GCode are attached

Can someone helpe me?

Best regards
Hendrik
