Print Time Estimate is way off

I'm running a snapmaker 1.0 3 in 1 machine. Have no problems with printing except the time estimate is really off.

Example: Printed the Baby Groot at 50% height and the estimate said 6 hours and 54 min. Actual was 8 hours and 24 min. (Granted some of that was the heating of the bed and nozzle (but not >1 hour).

Example: Printed the Baby Groot at 79% height - 118mm and the estimate said 12 hours and 15 min. Actual was 15 hours and 50 min. It was off by 3 hours and 35 min.

Why would it be that far off? The estimate is off on all prints.

Prints turned out super...

Probably best for you to do some light reading from a search on the forum:

Re: Print Time Estimate is way off

I did...... But version 4.1 was supposed to improve on the estimates......... I'm not seeing any improvement

My estimates were better in earlier versions. Now on 4.1.2 they seem to be getting worse.

Also best not to assume because I only have 8 posts that I'm a noob. Day job is estimating/programming/running 5-6 axis CNC machining centers (Mill/Turns). So estimates from the programming software needs to be accurate for pricing. I'm not expecting perfection in S3d but my numbers are way off. I'm asking since the Snapmaker is a newer machine.
