Hey Guys,
im trying to determine optimal Settings for 3D-Printing various materials. I did some scientific Research on various papers and sorted out like 8 paramters i want to do a statistical approach with DOE.
For my first material i am starting on ABS, since it's one of the cheaper materials i will research. As i'm printing on a Build Tac i have to use a raft, to lower the adhesion, since it bonds too strong without the raft... So i can not adjust my first layers properly, since the 1st layer Settings do apply on the raft... took me some time ro realize
Now im working with 3 processes: process 1: raft Settings, process 2: 1st layer process 3: rest of the print.
After i printed some specimen and did 3-point bending Tests, i realized a scattering of 10% in mechanical behaviour. What i figured out so far is, that the Printer is not printing the specimen in the same sequence. I want the Printer to print every layer in the same sequence for every speciment. What i've red so far is that i could print one after another with different processes, but i have to do 3 Proces for 1 print and im printing like 45 spcimen at once! that would be 45x3 processes to configure.
Is there some Settings to fix this? The thread i was reading was from 2015, so Maybe Things have changed since then.
to recap what i want to do:
I want to print 45 specimen at once. The process should look like this:
Raft speciment 1, raft speciment 2, raftet speciment 3 etc.
1st layer speciment 1, 1st layer speciment 2, 1st layer speciment 3.
2nd layer speciment 1.....
so i can guarantee the time between every layer is for every speciment the same.
Thx in Advance, i hope you guys can help me... im on this for 1.5 monthos now and i still couldn't start with the interesting stuff
