Application will not open

Hi all,

Having some application issues and hoping I can get some help.

I have had some issues with S3D hanging on launch, and each time it happens, I need to reinstall the application to get it usable again. The last time I reinstalled, I had to recreate my FFF profiles so I assume that can rule out my profiles being the cause of my application hanging on launch.

Here is what I mean:

This has happened about 5-6 times now, and I am starting to become frustrated.

Stuff I have tried:
- reinstalling application, deleting regkeys and config as per FAQ article
- reinstalling windows
- recreating fff profiles
- swapping my GPU, CPU, motherboard and RAM (not for this issue, just an upgrade, but worth mentioning)
- running the application as administrator
- opening the application in compatibility mode

Kinda a bit over it at the moment. I can get it working by reinstalling the application, but I am not keen on reconfiguring my fff profiles, but the point is more that I shouldn't have to.

Windows error seems a bit arbitrary to me:
The program Simplify3D.exe version stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.

In this particular instance, I clicked on a 3d model that I had last loaded (and had sliced and printed, so the model was good) and the application just hung, and force closed, now the application won't reopen.

Please help. Even after new hardware, new windows install, new fff profiles and new stls, the issue keeps coming back. I have replaced literally everything. Is this an application bug?

Could you contact us at Support@simplify3d.com? We may need some more specific information about your graphics setup to make sure Simplify3D will work properly.
