Perimeter walls not connecting

Fri Jan 03, 2020 9:23 am

I am printing on a Geeetech A10M Marlin 2.0 and the perimeter walls are not touching each other so in essence I have 3 thin walls then the infill touches the inner most perimeter. I have a .4 nozzle and have tried telling S3D to print automatic or forced to .48 width with no effect. I just printed the same model with Cura 4.4 and the walls are merged and solid. Where/what should I do adjustments to remedy this issue? or do you have a current fff file that I can try.

Sounds like you might be under-extruding significantly. Ensure your nozzle diameter in S3D is correct(not extrusion width), as well the filament diameter is correct. If that doesn't help, increase your extrusion multiplier by 0.05 intervals and see if anything happens(0.9-1.0 is a good starting ground for PLA).
