I’m new to the Ender 3 Pro. I printed all of the test models. The dog and pig came out perfect. The cat failed twice, once because the included filament ran out. Once, I’m not sure why. Both times were right near the forehead of the model.
Last night, I sliced a model of some action figure armor I had commissioned, and tried to print it using the Simplify3D profile for the Ender 3 Pro. The print failed pretty quickly.
I also tried to print it using the profile for the cat model, which I got from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRQ-3nnSa-4
Here are screenshots of the model, and the preset settings from Simplify for the Ender Pro. I figured that, since the settings came pre-loaded, they would be optimized for my printer.
I have experience 3D printing, but I have no idea what a lot of the settings mean in terms of how they'll affect the print. Does anyone have any idea why this print might failed so spectacularly compared to the others?
Thanks very much for your help!
