Ender 3 Pro can't communicate?

I bought the software specifically to help me get my Z offset correct.

I've connected the USB cable to the PC (in the same port I use to successfully write G-Code to the SD Card) and it won't connect.

I've tried various BAUD rates, to no avail, and I don't know what to try next.

Connection log messages below:

Code: Select all

Attempting connection at \\.\COM1...
  Testing plaintext communication protocol...
  Testing binary communication protocol...
  Testing alternate communication protocols...
  Connection failed.
Help??

Same problem here. Did you find any solution? Does not seem to matter the baud rate, and I only have one COM port open COM1.

Re: Ender 3 Pro can't communicate?

the printer emulate a com port, so their is nearly no chance that it is on com1.
The com 1 is your motherboard onboard com, even if you dont have the bracket for it.check in your device manager and you will probably find a com 3 or a com 5, that will be the good one.
