[SUPPORT NEEDED] Mac OS connection error

I switched recently from an old Yosemite OS to Big Sur.
It seems that implies a new connection of the software.
The previous sofware is running fine, and doesn't ask me to connect myself.
The version running under Big Sur failed to go after the connection dialog with a "connection error".
The Yosemite version failed to connect myself, with the same error, but it is running.
I tried to change my password without success.
I don't have acess to anything but this connection dialog.
Could please tell me how to gain access to my software ?

Answer from the Simplify3D support:
You have to re-install your operating system from scratch....
I'm a professor in Computer Science in a French School of electrical engineering. I can't see why and how re-installing the operating system can change anything to my problem, since two different computers (with different operating systems) have the same problem.
It is just a waste of my time, and a way to close my ticket without working to solve it...
