v3.0 - Support missing half -- v2.2 Support OK.

What's going on with Simplify 3.0 version compared to the 2.2 version?

The 3.0 version produces about 1/2 missing support structure -- while the 2.2 version works fine.


Simplify 3.0 version, the support structure is asymmetrical and missing on the right side of part.

In Simplify 2.2 version -- the support structure is symmetrical across the bottom of the part.

The profile info for the 3.0 and 2.2 support versions are similar.

So what is causing the missing support structure problem in 3.0 version??

SOLUTION: v3.0 - Support OK by mod to Max Overhang Angle

SOLUTION:
In Simplify 3.0,

by going to the print profile,
tabbing to Support and readjusting:
Max Overhang Angle= 60
Then generating Gcode, ALL support structures now appear below object.

If on the other hand...
Max Overhang Angle= 65
Then generating Gcode, only ONE HALF of support structures appear below object.


Yet in Simplify 2.2,
by going to the print profile,
tabbing to Support:
Max Overhang Angle= 65
Then generating Gcode, ALL support structures now appear below object.


I have the same part in both cases. Yet Simplify 3.0 requires a slight adjustment of Max Overhang Angle to get same results between both versions.
