Re: Replicator 2x

Hmmm... Perhaps check the port and baud rate on the Machine Control Panel. Does your USB connection to the printer really show up as "COM1"? Tap the arrow to the right to see a list of possible ports. Also, does the printer expect 115.2 kBaud, or 230.4 k, or ????

If you still can't connect, probably best to contact S3D support via the "support" page on the main website.... or e-mail to support@simplify3D.com .

Good luck!

Re: Replicator 2x

Hi
Thanx for helping me Dale
I have done as you said then I found the printer :-)
But I still get no contact with the printer.
I get this message

Attempting connection at COM4...
MakerBot printer detected!
MakerBot printers currently use the SD card for direct printing.
For additional details see: http://www.simplify3d.com/support/makerbot/ (I can not find anything that helps me hear)

The printer is on the COM4 Baud Rate 115200
I have downgraded the software in the printer 7,4

Do you have any more ideas ?
Sorry for my bad English

Re: Replicator 2x

I did get this answer from suport.
If anyone else has the same problem.
So i will be fixt :D

Right now the software will create a .x3g file that you can copy to the SD card on your Replicator 2X. You can then print that file by using the LCD menu on the front of the machine. You can find an extensive guide here:
http://www.simplify3d.com/support/makerbot/

The next software update will be adding extensive direct USB control for these printers. We have been testing it for the last few weeks so it should be available shortly.
