Printing with 2 Colors

Hello,

I'm trying to print a puck with a logo on it; puck is black, logo is orange. I created 2 .stl files and place them in Simplify3D and located the logo on top of the puck. I've tried twice to print this unsuccessfully, however once was close. The logo printed one layer but then stopped.

Is there an easier way to do this? Aka, can I just bring in one .stl file that has 2 bodies in it or pick faces or something? Or should I just keep trying to print it as it is? I'm using ABS on a Makerbot Replicator 2X.

Thank you,
Michele

Re: Printing with 2 Colors

Yes, you need 2 STL files. Once you have those, you can use the dual extrusion wizard to handle everything else. It doesn't get easier than that ;)
