Thin walls suppressed in new version

When comparing an ABS test print of this calibration object made yesterday, I saw that the most recent version of S3D suppresses the generation of thin walls. See the result here. The grey object is the older one, made in PETG, the black one was made yesterday in ABS. Same printer, same nozzle, same process settings apart from the temperatures.

In the print preview, it also shows that S3D does not generate the thin walls in the object.

Nozzle diameter 0.3mm. the thin wall is 0.25mm, in the PETG object it is 0.27mm thick/thin.
Don't fix it if it ain't broken. And if it's broken, keep your fingers off, please!

Are you sure the settings are exactly the same? Because something definitely looks different with the number of perimeters.

Re: Thin walls suppressed in new version

I'm like 100% sure that 3.0.x also suppressed walls thinner than the extrusion width. Actually I played around with this some weeks ago and only when I set the extrusion width slightly smaller than the wall thickness, it was visible in the sliced model.
Then again, it would be probably a good idea to add a "thin walls" option like it's done in IdeaMaker...
