Is there a setting that disregards smaller features

The small strip is missing is its .5x1mm is there a setting that caused that to not get sliced?

I have a .5 nozzle and extrusion is set to .5 but if I change them both to .25 it will add it in. Why is that?

yes it take 2 perimeters to make that feature so if your ext width is set ot .5mm then that needs to be 1mm in width.
