GAP AROUND HOLES

Hi fellow users -
I'm kinda stumped here. Tried a few different settings but can't seem to get rid of these gaps in my print.
Visually its not a problem however this makes for a very weak part.
I've printed this in the past with my older Prusa style machine using Cura and don't recall any issues like this.
I've also attached the stl file but i dont think its the model.
Any ideas folks? Thanks - JD

Re: GAP AROUND HOLES

Well you didn't post any of your settings, so it's pretty hard to help

Why don't you attach a factory file (File > Save Factory File)?

Re: GAP AROUND HOLES

Hi JD:

When you go in and edit the process, Go to the Infill Tab and set Outline Overlap to 40%. That should fill in the hole. I had a similar issue and it worked for me.

Good Luck.

Re: GAP AROUND HOLES

I have mine set to 50% overlap and there is still a gap between hole wall and infill

Re: GAP AROUND HOLES

It's not a bug, it's a question of settings!

SolidInfill rectlinear has better results as concentric. When concentric you must also play with overlap up to 100% and the ExtrusionWidth, for FirstLayer also with FirstLayerWidth. And very new in V 4.1.2 also with Z-Offset in tab GCode, because the extrusion amount for first layer is now not fixed to 100% amount if FirstLayerHeight is set below 100.

A generell under extrusion can also cause the gap. (> diameter of filament to be messured with a micrometerscrew and setting of Extrusion Multiplier)

A picture can help a lot!
