Simplify3D User Forum

My Dremel3D40 has received a firmware update yesterday.
Afer that Update, Simplify 3D Profil doesn't work.

The Extruder doens't head up...all Code in Script doesn't work anymore.

Is there anybody with the same Problem?

no, after the Firmware update...the Extruder dos not head up.

hmm.. well did you try asking the Dremel support people about it? Maybe they have release notes for the firmware or can tell you what changed.

I have been waiting for a callback from Dremel for two days. The nice gentlemen on the phone did not know anything.

I too have this problem. ive been chatting back and forth with Dremel for 5 days now VIA emails. they are sending me a flash drive with the old firmware files that came with the printer. i will try and keep you up todate on this.

Hey guys i got the "older" files for my Dremel to work. you need to contact dremel and ask them to send you older files for the update.

Can you post the old files here? That will make it much easier for anyone else in the future that has to do this

All you need to do to get the files to work from the flash drive is wrap the heating commands in a pair of these fancy comments

I've linked the profile I'm using for now. Hopefully it helps you guys out.

DarthRevan - I used the fff file and exported a g3drem file to a USB stick. When I hit USB on the Dremel console it freezes.
