Wrong format warning

Hi.for some reason I keep getting wrong format warning. I download a stl file it shows in the program .yet when I try to send to my da vinci 1.0a printer it says wrong format. I have printer a part before this so not sure what to do.can anyone help.thanks

Are you using the stock XYZ firmware on the printer, or did you put a different firmware on it like repetier?

Hey there,
I put the repetier software on my XYZ 2.0, I am also getting this error message, which device do I need to choose for the printer to be recognized correctly ?
