Base raft layer settings?

I cannot get the correct settings for a good first layer. Nothing I do makes it stick to the print surface.

However the base raft layer sticks perfectly. What are the settings that this base raft layer uses? How can I mimic these exact settings for my first real layer?

Try disabling the raft and then adjust your first layer settings to have 200% height, 200% width, and maybe 20-30% speed. That will get close to what the raft does by default.

Thanks! That was a very helpful tip. I just had the opportunity to try it on a Replicator 2X printing PLA and can finally get it to stick the first layer with no raft.
