S3d not importing .STL
Greetings all! Probably a noobie question, but here goes. Just got a Hatchbox Alpha set up and printing. Downloaded a few files from Thingiverse and tried to import into S3d. Won't import or allow me to drag and drop. Decided to try other freebie software (Cura) and it reads fine. Sadly my settings are wrong in Cura so it won't print correctly. Has anyone ever heard of this happening? STL is fine in Cura, but won't read in S3d.

It would probably help if you posted the problematic STL file here for others to look at it

something to try (if you have windows 10), is open and import the stl with 3D Builder. I use TinkerCad and use 3D builder to save the stl file. When 3D Builder imports the file, it does check it for issues and will repair them. You can then export it as a new stl and try reading that one with S3D. Maybe this would help...
