Filimant Blobs at Tips

Hello,
The Troubleshooting guide goes over blobs in prints, but I seem to be experiencing something different. It only happens at the very tip of a print, all other layers are fine. It happens on both of my library's Makerbot Replicator+ machines, and only started since switching from Makerbot Print to Simplify3D. I love everything else about it!
Attached are two examples. It happens any time a print ends in a point. I assume the extruder is pausing too long or releasing too much filament, but I'm not sure how to resolve that. I can try adjusting the retraction distance more, but if I would appreciate any other advice as well! I haven't been using Simplify3D for very long, so I apologize if I am missing something obvious.
