Object rotation angles are not deterministic

It appears that if you take the XYZ rotation angles from an object and then enter them into another object (like if you have to update the STL for some reason) you do NOT get the new model in the same rotation as the old. Apart from being just plain confusing, this makes it very difficult to re-position the model identically to what you had.
