Post install directory error

This is a real niggle, but it seems to have been a consistent occurrence throughout the last few updates on the Mac version...

When the app is first executed post install, an attempt to import a file results in an inaccurate directory map display. The root of the directory tree seems to be the install location. This can be easily cleared by restarting the app, and works fine afterwards.

Re: Post install directory error

Yup, we notice that on our machines too. Once your browse to a specific location, Creator will remember that for the future, but the first time you launch it the paths aren't always intuitive. Specifically on the Mac, the administrator privileges appear to escalate the "home" folder to one buried deep in the file system that no one probably uses. It's just how the operating system does things. The easy fix is to just manually browse to the location you want so it remembers it, or restart the program like you've seen so that it at least goes to a reasonable home folder by default.

Re: Post install directory error

Yes, a restart fixes the issue and it's non-recurrent. Just thought it worth pointing out to ensure it wasn't an application issue.
