Support grid not calculated correctly.

Support is calculated on a grid, but the grid is not inclusive to the edge part boundary. If there is any overhang at all into a grid area, the program should put a support structure on that grid.

Here is the result with a very small 1.5mm grid. The support is being miscalculated and so didn't cover the inner edge of this part, so the part failed - 14 hour print ruined.

This is a very easy fix.

Just curious, what kind of machine are you using. It looks very robust, large timing belts and recirculating linear bearings. The part also looks very good, despite the problem you are having with support.

Thanks, I recognized the hot end, and now that you told me I realized it is a makergear. Looks like it does a great job.

I am trying to my CNC/Printer running and I am making parts for a friend. We are building a Delta machine, 22" round x 25" tall work envelope with a heated chamber. We should start assembly as soon as I get the frame parts machined.

Can't belief that this cant be fixed, considering ALL the free software gets this to work.. Really want this fixed please ASAP
