Ive tried that, its not working for me. :/

Edit: Looks like I was using "retinizer" which was causing it to stay in retina mode even with low res checked. I "de-retinized" the app check the setting you mentioned and its now working fine.

Left click on the Simplify3D application and choose Get Info.
There is a check box saying "Open in Low Resolution". Check this and you are done.

So having clearly established that Retina resolutions ARE the problem, has Simplify3D Support come up with an explanation why the problem didn't show up during their (allegedly) Retina-active testing?

Yeah, I have a Macbook Pro Retina as well and I have the same exact problem. Hopefully this will be resolved in the next release...

I have a MBP 15" retina late 2013 and have the same problem.
