Impossible to maximise window on Ubuntu 16.04

I'm running a print from my Ubuntu 16.04 laptop using s3d v4.0.1. The initial Simplify3D window looks fine, but when I click "Prepare to print" and get to Preview Mode, the window doesn't maximise. Even when I try to make the window smaller and then maximise again, the title bar doesn't integrate properly. The result is that I can't see the full window and all the buttons on my laptop screen, unless I run a multi-desktop environment and scroll down to the desktop "beneath". I'm attaching a picture showing the lower desktop, which shows some of what's missing on the normal screen.

My screen resolution is 1366x768, which I believe is fairly normal on a laptop.

Re: Impossible to maximise window on Ubuntu 16.04

Wow, it looks like it's spanning multiple workspaces. But I don't see the workspace icon on the dock.
If you use the ubuntu tweak tool and set your system to have a 2x2 workspace, maybe you can grab the application and drag it to a workspace to see if it will put it within one of the workspaces.
