Fabrikator 2 mini not connecting

My Fabrikator 2 mini wont connect. I see its com port (3) but the software wont connect. If I try opening it in repeater it connects just fine. Is there some thig other than Machine control panel for setting this up that Ive missed?

Update: unchecking wait or startup will allow the Fabrikator 2 mini to connect but it still wont work with the software. If I go to move the print head or bed it will only execute one command and then wont do anything.

Did you ever get it to work? I got one, and it s3d won't work with it, but repetier works fine.
I'd appreciate suggestions.

Are you both unchecking wait for start up? Do you see anything at all in the Tools > Machine Control Panel > Communication log?
