Printer stops/pauses on retracts

Hi, I have an issue where I am trying to print a benchy and the printer pauses/stops for several seconds on certain retracts, it is not on all retracts, just a small amount. This pausing leaves of course a blob behind. When this happens the retract happens very, very slowly. (hence the pause)

I searched the forum for this and noticed several other users are having the same issue, but no real solution was being offered. I tried some of the suggestions like 'Only wipe extruder for outer-most perimeters', played around with different retraction settings (speed, distance etc) but nothing seems to work.

I am not printing over USB, I use a SD card.

Printer Type:
- CoreXY
- Single Titan extruder (Bowden)
- E3D V6 hot-end

My retraction settings are:
Retraction Distance: 3.20mm
Extra Restart Distance: 0.10mm
Retraction Vertical Lift: 0.00mm
Retraction Speed: 50mm/sec
Coasting Distance: 0.10mm
Wipe Distance: 2.5mm

Ooze control behavior:
- Only retract when crossing open spaces -> checked
- Only wipe extruder for outer-most perimiters - Checked
- Everything else unchecked

Hope someone can help me figure this one out.

Thanks!

I believe I had encountered a similar issue when using wipe settings. Do you have a factory file ?

I have this same issue. I made sure I didn't have any minimum layer time set up... And the printer is doing everything correctly because the same thing happens on all 4 of my printers with the same gcode...
