4.1.1 crashes when trying to import a file

Since updating to 4.1.1 S3D crashes every time I try to import a file. It worked flawlessly when using 4.0. Is there any way to either get this issue with 4.1.1 resolved, or to get 4.0 back? Right now all I have is a pretty little icon that opens a program that crashes as soon as I try to use it.

At this time we only provide the latest version of the software on our website for downloads.
Can you post the file you're trying to import?

I think that the program crashing on opening is a symptom of having used a special character in either a stl of process name.
Have you used any special characters at all?
