Simplify3D User Forum

Hello,
Can help me sombody ? In the new 5.0 version of SW I can't import any 3MF files. STL files are ok, no problem. Every attempt to open a 3MF file leads to message: "Failed to open file for reading: ....path to the file....". In an older version 4.1.2 it was ok, no problem, but after upgrade to version 5.0 it does not work anymore.
What am I doing wrong ? Or some bug in the new version ?

Solved, I have found the solution. The new version 5.0 can't open 3MF files with path which contains a special charcters (ěščřžýáí). I have 3MF files in "Documents" folder, where is in Windows at the beginning added my name with a special character "ý". The Simplify can't use such folders for 3MF files. So, it's a bug in the new version.

The thing is, why would you use special characters like that?

English not being his mother tongue??

I have this special character in mu name. Login into Windows is based on my name, so Documents folder is in my name folder in Windows..

And no, English is no my natural language, that's why I have in my name special character. Is it more clear for you ?? Surprise.... around the world exists a lot of people who using Simplify and are not natural in English.... ha ha ha
